| MAX, Municipal Area Express, is a commuter bus service specifically designed to address the commuting needs of South Bay residents who work in the El Segundo employment center. MAX offers three routes through the South Bay, and operates during the morning and afternoon peak commuting hours.
MAX buses are equipped with air conditioning, airline style reclining seats, reading lights and overhead parcel racks.

Notice of Potential Fare Increase: MAX Lead Agecy Staff will be seeking public comment regarding a potential fare increase beginning October 1, 2010.
